K...One day you will see him again. He will wrap his arms around you and say...Welcome Home, You!
By the way, I've missed your posts. Didn't know you went away. I'm glad to see you back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've been spending the last few days at Greg's house. I had to move the puppies here so the landlord doesn't find out about them.
I had to work today from 8-4pm but left at 2:30. I had this customer call me back in March about a full Kenmore PRO kitchen for a house he was building for someone. We have been emailing back and forth and two days ago he told me he was adding another full kitchen to the in-law apartment! Today I sold him $14,000 of merchandise! Next payday is going to be sweet!
My son Shawn did something very stupid the other day. I was at work Friday and got a call from Amanda who had just arrived at the pool. She said, "Mom, I just got to the pool." I heard trouble in her voice and was immediately concerened.
"Shawn dove in the shallow end and there's blood everywhere." Ok...this is not something you start off saying. She should have said, "Mom, Shawn is ok, but he's bleeding." They thought he broke his nose. The ambulance was there and they took him to the hospital with a collar on his neck and strapped him to a back board.
I was a little ticked that they didn't x-ray his face or neck. Dumbasses. Diving in the shallow end + head injury = x-ray. Anyway, he walked away (thank God) with a scraped up nose, lip, chin, chest and arm. I would imagine his nose hurt alot also.
He is at his fathers house until Sunday. That evening I finally got a chance to talk to him. It went like this...
Mom: "Shawn, What were you thinking?!"
Shawn: "I wasn't."
As Kevin would say...
Indeed.
