K, You're such a Silly Monkey...

He didn't think you "sucked as a son." He loved and accepted you just the way you are. From what you've said, he was a very special person. Thank you for sharing him with us.

New Beginnings....

As you may have noticed, I've changed the title to my blog. My "Silly Monkey" is growing up and I no longer see him at the daycare. His name was Zachary and he was in my toddler class. That little buggar is 4 now! We used to call each other "Silly Monkey!" when we were being, well, silly!

My life is moving in a different direction and the old title just didn't seem to fit any longer. It may change again as the mood strikes. I'm sure no one really cares but me, but hey, that's why it's MY blog, heh.

I named it "Just As I Am" for two reasons. 1st, and most importantly, God loves me just as I am! No matter how far I wander away, and trust me, I have a bad habit of doing just that, He's always patiently waiting for me to return. Unconditional love is cool, huh?!

The 2nd reason is because I like the hymn named "Just As I Am". It was a big part of my childhood as it was sung often in church right at the end of the service.

My computer is wonky right now so I'll end this. The screen is going dark and the cursor is moving funny. Then there's that strange zapping thing it's doing to me...I had ear buds in one night and it shocked me....in both ears! ugh.

I'll leave you with this...

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Rev. 21:4

I know, dang it! I think the problem is the power cord. I dropped the laptop on its side, and it landed right on the peice that plugs in, bending it a bit.

It zaps my hand sometimes too when I'm messing with the mouse, but only when the cord is plugged in.

I have plans on getting a new cord soon. :)
