Excited...

I'm going to the SCC/MWS concert tomorrow evening and I'm looking forward to it! Greg is going with me. Thomas will be spending the night with a classroom friend and going trick-or-treating with him.

I'm taking the boys to do some winter clothes shopping this afternoon. I finally received my check in the mail. It was the balance of money I didn't use from my grant to go to college. They award you a certain amount of money, depending on the class load you are taking, and once you purchase books and supplies, they mail you a check for the difference. Why you ask? Well, I have been told it is to help you with other expenses to get to class, such as daycare or gas money. My balance was tripple the one from last semester and so I'm VERY excited about that!

I have been very busy with school, work, and family lately that I sometimes wish I could just turn the world off for a bit! I still haven't heard about the job. The decision is coming from someone out of our store so we are at their mercy. The previous H.R. woman said she had heard that they might do away with the Human Resources department (it's only one person) in our store and let the leads/managers hire/fire, etc. Great. Just what I DIDN'T want to hear.

I will be so glad when this stupid election is over. I do not plan on voting (and I don't care what you think about that.) It's my right TO vote...it's also my right NOT to vote. Amen.

Oh, I am 95% sure that Lucky the poodle got "lucky" again. Puppies are due on Dec. 24th.
