We flunked...

the water test. The house we are renting has well water. We've been having issues with water pressure and black sediment in the water.

Long story short, I am sick the landlord giving us the run around about the plumber coming out to fix or replace the filtration system. (he's due today and so far, a no show.)

The thing the landlord doesn't realize is that I am smarter than the average bear. I took a water sample to the local lab and today I got the results....the test FAILED. There's bacteria in my water and it's NOT SAFE to drink!

This is the water I've fed my kids, dogs, and GRANDSON! I've been cooking with it. I'm ticked off. I had so much fun leaving him the message about it today. I'm sure it totally ruined his day and Christian or not, that makes me chuckle. I let him know what he needed to do to shock the system with chlorine, told him that it needed to be tested again, and that if it failed, he'd have to come up with another solution to the problem! I'm going to hold off telling him that the local health department knows about it too. *snicker*

I have the upper hand, FINALLY. I know that sounds bad but I'm sick of him not doing what he is supposed to do. I've been wanting to move out of here but have been bound by a lease. This just might be a legal way for me to get out of dodge!
