I had a nice time...

tonight. I started cooking dinner then found out I was being taken out for dinner so I chose Applebees. They must have changed their menu recently because I actually enjoyed the food. I chose something off their "Weight Watchers" section because I wanted steak and they were offering a tiny one on that menu. It came with portabella mushrooms and some type of brown gravy, red potatoes and broccoli.

The only thing that got me a bit miffed was when the waitress delivered my plate, she announced loud enough for everyone around to hear, "Who had the Weight Watchers meal?" Ok, I honestly chose it for the food content not the calorie content but puleeze, I'm overweight and how embarrassing is THAT? She might as well have said, "Hey fat lady, did you order this diet meal?" Come on, give a birthday girl a break! heh.

When I got back, Thomas gave me a birthday card with $20 of his own money in it! I had mentioned how I wanted a new bathing suit and he said that was what it's for. He's so sweet! He also gave me the CD by Stephen Curtis Chapman, This Moment (Cinderella Edition). I'm listening to it now.

He and his friend from next door, Tyler, have started a lawn care business called, "TNT Lawn Care" and they made a bit of money recently. The T's stand for Tyler and Thomas..hehe. I knew about the CD and card, but the cash was a complete surprise! Of course, I'll end up spending it on him tomorrow at the pool. I believe Amanda and Jacob are coming for a visit and we are going swimming.
