Tomorrow is Father's Day as most of you know. Today Thomas and I were listening to a radio station and the girl mentioned Fathers Day. She asked everyone to say a prayer for those whose fathers have "already gone on to heaven". Thomas didn't say a thing. It was kinda an awkward moment. I wasn't sure if I should say something or not.
I came across this photo and wanted to post it. It was taken before I had Thomas. Tom and I were at my aunt Marsha's house (yes, I'm named after her). Her sister, my Aunt Linda was in from NC at the time.
My Aunt Marsha was only 4 feet 11 inches tall. Tom was 6 feet 7 inches. I thought this was so funny....My Aunt was in the middle of saying, "Oh you think this is SOOOO funny, don't you?!" (Click on the picture and you can see it up close)
At some point, the photo got wet and is stuck to the glass of the frame. I scanned it and that's why it looks so weird. I have to crop it still and then repair the tears and spots.
Ok, I lost my train of thought...
HAPPY FATHERS DAY, Tom.

HEY!!! Found your website in an old email I had put away for safe keeping (for those times when my computer crashes, it just crashed again!)
I remember when you showed me this pic the first time. Geez, Tom looks so strong and healthy back then. Life moves by so quickly.
Just tell Thomas how much his father loved him and wanted nothing more than to be with him. His daddy hasn't forgotten him, he's just away right now, preparing a place for him when the time is right. That whisper he hears in his ear, that person he thinks he sees out of the corner of his eye, that touch on his shoulder he feels, that's Tom letting him know that he is still watching over him. Never has a little boy been more loved.
Hi there! Glad you found the link. I will let Thomas read your message about his dad.
Time does fly. It will be 10 years this November. Can you believe that?
We need to come visit you soon! I was thinking about it the other day.
