The trip was good. We had a great time driving down. The trip back was worse because we were all exhausted. Thomas had a great time. He got to swim in the hotel pool which he enjoyed. We drove down on Saturday and came back Monday. I really needed to be home to pack up the old house but I figured I was due for a short vacation.
Don't quote me on this but I believe these guys were with the National Guard. We came in late and I missed their introduction.
We were in the 6th row on turn 4. Here are the views from left to right.
Thomas enjoyed himself very much.
Gas prices are totally outta control. This was from a stop on the way to the race. We were in a diesel truck. Fuel was EXPENSIVE.

Gas is nuts isn't it? It was $1.37 a litre here today. That's about 0.26 of a gallon. Cripes! I'm certainly going to riding my bike more than normal this summer.
