Thankful...

I often vent on my blog. Sometimes I'm downright bitchy. Well today I'm going to try to stay positive. That's not easy for me to do, if you know me at all.

So...here it goes:

Dear God,

I am thankful that I didn't catch the dogs in the trash this morning or I'd have killed them. Thank you for sweet puppies that love me even when I'm grumpy.

I am thankful that I wasn't in a car accident on my way home from the meeting that was a waste of my precious sleeping time, this morning. Thank you for protecting me and thank you that I have a job.

I'm thankful that McDonalds didn't screw up my order today. Thank you for money to buy breakfast.

I'm thankful that even though my room is messy, I have a place to call my own. Thank you for a roof over my head.

I'm thankful for patience and love or else I would have swatted two boys this morning for not cleaning up the kitchen after themselves last night. Thank you for happy, healthy children.

I am thankful for friends who trust me enough to share their deepest feelings with me when they are hurting. Thank you for good friends and I pray for them today that you will give them peace.
