One LONG day...

Today started with cleaning the house at 7am. Yes, I said SEVEN AM. I should have been sleeping but there were two different people coming by to view the house. It's up for sale. Did I say that before?

Anyway, I had to be out of here by noon which wasn't easy. I tried to mow some of the grass around the trash can area and in the front yard but I didn't have enough gas. A half cut yard looks so much worse than a yard that wasn't cut at all.

In the end, I ran out of time to get a shower. Yeah I know, but I was headed to Greg's house so I gathered up my clean clothes and went to his house. We were having school friends come at 3pm to the arcade for a birthday party so I had to go shopping for stuff. I didn't have ANYTHING!

I dropped off Thomas and the dogs off at Greg's and headed out to shop. Then the flea market caught my eye. Ugh. I am a book fiend. I love shopping at the flea market for books! I got two today for $2!! Can't beat that.

Amanda was on her way and called to say she was close by. She fussed at me for being at the flea market at 1pm so I left and went to the grocery store. Of course, I was then in a hurry to cut up the vegies I bought. Yes, I said vegies.

See, the thought beind the vegetables was...most kids eat alot of junk so I'd offer fruit and vegies. I also had cheese sticks and granola bars. HA! Guess who didn't eat a thing while playing at the arcade? Ok. So it was a dumb idea! They did eat some right before eating cake. And ice cream. Ok. I SAID it was a dumb idea!

We spent two hours at the arcade. Amanda ran over a screw in the parking lot and Greg had to come put the spare on her car and get the flat fixed. We went to his house afterward, and I got some great pics of Jacob playing in the grass.

The boys, Thomas, my nephew, and my son's friend from school, all went up to the loft to play the Wii. After dinner we sat around and watched Alvin and the Chipmunks. The actor who played Dave was right out of acting school, and it's my guess that he flunked.

It's now midnight and all three boys are in bed. Oh...did I mention we were having a sleepover? Amanda was so tired she decided to sleep over also. In my bed. So here I am, in my room, on the floor. On a mat. A very narrow mat. With only one pillow.

I'm falling asleep as I type. I'll post pictures tomorrow.
