It's about time....

I just received my benefits information in the mail. I will finally have health coverage in June after going about 8 years without it.

When I took this job, it was pretty much for the benefits. I was tired of working in jobs that didn't offer it. Over at the daycare center, if you were a full time employee, you could have it for around $350 a month. I was never a full time employee.

Right now I have a "discount" plan that is supposed to tie me over until the 6 month period passes, and then I will be able to get the full coverage. I pay around $108 per paycheck now and the coverage sucks.

It's going to cost me around $140 every two weeks but it will be worth it. I am making more here than at the daycare center and well, at this point, I'd rather be cash poor and health care covered. I'm gettin old and stuff's breaking down. Ha!

I was up until 2am doing school work. Test 4 was due today and I was behind. I finished my chapters/questions/quizzes and today went to the college and took the test. I got a 96 out of a possible 108 points. Once again, I'm happy with that. Three more weeks to go and one test and I shall be finished! Well, with that class anyway. I brought home the brochure for summer classes and need to look through it. Today was the beginning of sign up for summer. (I'm so slow!)

I stopped in at work tonight and got a few empty boxes. I am in the process of cleaning up my very cluttered room. I'll post more later. Maybe a pic or two.
